WhatsApp Messages for Police Complaints or Insurance

When filing a police complaint for harassment or threats, or a claim with an insurance company, messages can be provided as an organized PDF: Nispach turns the chat export file into a document where each message appears with a date, time, and sender, and a cover page bearing the SHA-256 hash of the source file. The document does not replace the phone itself: an authority investigating the complaint may ask to see the device or the original file, making it important to keep both. Processing takes place in the browser, and the chat is never uploaded to any server.
Harassment and threats
When messages are received over time, a chronological PDF shows the full picture better than a single screenshot. Filter by the sender and date range. Do not delete the chat and do not block before exporting, and when there is a safety concern, contact the police immediately and do not wait to prepare a document.
Insurance claims
- Car accidents: Correspondence with the other driver, exchanged details, and photos from the scene.
- Property damage: Reporting to neighbors or the building committee, photos, and dates.
- Correspondence with an agent or appraiser: What was said and when.
It is advisable to check with the insurance company regarding the format in which they require documents.
The original remains with you

Messages of this type are sensitive. Nispach reads the file and builds the PDF in the browser, on your computer, and the chat is not sent to a server. You decide to whom the document is submitted.

They can be filtered by dates and senders. The cover page indicates what is included, making it clear that it is a range from within the conversation.
The chat includes photos. Will they be included in the document?
Yes, when exporting with media. The photos appear as thumbnails in their place, and the remaining files appear in the media index.
