WhatsApp Chats in Small Claims
Small claims are usually filed without a lawyer. The correspondence with the business, contractor, or seller is frequently the primary evidence.
When filing a small claim yourself, you can attach the WhatsApp correspondence as an organized PDF document instead of screenshots: export the chat from the phone, drag the file into Nispach, select the relevant dates, and download a PDF where each message appears with a date, time, and sender, along with a page number on every page. This makes it easy to reference a specific message in the statement of claim. Processing takes place in your browser, and the chat is never uploaded to any server.
Why not screenshots
Screenshots crop messages, do not always show a date, and after twenty of them it is hard to follow the order. A PDF from the export file displays all messages in the range sequentially, with a date and time for each, and allows the statement of claim to state "see Appendix 2, page 3". More on this in Printing WhatsApp chats for court.
Common scenarios
- A contractor or tradesperson who committed to a price or schedule, and correspondence about delays.
- A second-hand purchase, with the product description and payment agreement in the chat.
- A refund promised in a message that never arrived.
- A loan between acquaintances, with repayment requests over time.
Three steps
- Export the chat from the phone, according to the export guide.
- Select the date range and type a label, for example, Appendix 1.
- Download the PDF and attach it to the claim. It is advisable to check the court's current guidelines regarding the method of filing documents and the number of copies.
Pricing for a single claim
No subscription is required: the preview of the first three pages is free, and a full appendix costs ₪49. Pay only when the result looks right.

FAQ
Do I need a lawyer to use the system?
No. The system is also designed for self-represented parties. It prepares the document, and does not constitute legal advice.
Will the chat be accepted as evidence?
That is decided by the court. The document generated by Nispach is clear and complete, and includes the source file's hash for verification.
What if the other party deleted messages?
The appendix is built from the chat as it is stored on your phone at the time of export. Therefore, it is advisable to export early and save the original file.
